How I Read Tarot
The Five-Card Spread

For those who might be interested in knowing, I use the Robin Wood Tarot Deck. I use a 5-card spread for online readings, and I generally use the Celtic Cross method when I do live readings.

This is to provide the seeker with a specific answer to a specific question.

  1. The question. This card, and the interpretation of it, defines the question and outcome.
  2. The background. The events and general situation surrounding the question.
  3. The seeker. You. It may also show what character strength, or lack thereof, is most significant in the outcome.
  4. The environment. The outside world and it's impact on the answer. The influences of co-workers, friends or family.
  5. The answer. The appropriate action to take is inherent in the interpretation of this card.

One month a year, I will "open" and do free online readings, generally through email. Not sure when I'll be doing the year 2000's readings.

Blessed Be,

Amanda

Ummm... except where noted (The High Priestess image is from the Robin Wood Tarot Deck, available through Amazon.com, and the web ring graphics, which I got from the ring-holder). Neener. Do not remove tags under penalty of law. Please fasten your seatbelt. Keep lid closed when operating. Do not drink and drive. Wash your hands before dinner. Don't play Doctor with Emi. She has Cooties. Play with Thea. She doesn't wear underpants.
